Pro tip: Use about ½ cup (4 oz) of kernels for a medium-batch, and make sure you’re working with a fresh, dry kernel, ideal moisture is roughly 12-14%.

Pro tip: As soon as popping slows, stop the heat. Overcooking = burnt kernels. Also, if you’re going for bold flavors it’s best to pop first and flavor right after.
